These models have a common wear and tear issue with the heater leaking water onto the passenger side footwell. We have taken some photos to show why and what is required to fix this issue. First of all the air conditioning system needs to be de commissioned. Then the blower fan and evaporator need to be removed.
That will expose the two plastic heater pipes that attach to the heater core and where the water leak is.

This is a short video of how to replace a faulty SRS clock spring on a 2005 to 2010 Toyota Hilux. After replacing the faulty clock spring, the SRS warning light will go out automatically once the system has done its 5 second self check. Inquires are welcome via the contact page.
